"Woah, woah. Halfway there. Woah, woah. Living on a prayer."
Journey's lyrics pretty much sum up my life right now. In a mere two weeks I will halfway done with my time in college. I cannot believe that the past two years have gone this quickly. It seems like just yesterday I was moving into the dorms, scared about everything college had in store for me. I am no longer afraid of the vast University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus, the fraternity boys, or the dorm food. I have many more important things to be worried about, such as which internships I should apply for, how much my next car payment should be, and where I will be living next year. Luckily, I know whatever stands before me I can handle. Just as the songs says, I am literally "living on a prayer." I pray that I can make it out of college without too many loans and with a job I love. But in the meantime, there is nothing I can do but live, and love the way I live. Its just like they say, "The bills will always pile, and the dog will continue to puke on the carpet, but it is because of love that every night I can lay down and know that things will be OK."
