Branded with a J

In order to be Branded with a J, one must be optimistic above all things.

the original J has:

--strong moral values. She believes that good will always triumph over evil in the long run. She believes that there is always a chance for improvement. She believes that all situations, even the worst ones, have some good in them. Because of these beliefs, she tries to help bring out the good in everyone. She values her sense of humor greatly, as she loves making others laugh. She also values the intelligence she has been given, and tries to put it to use in the best way possible.

--a strong love for her family. She could not have been blessed with a more rambunctious, caring, interesting group of people. She loves the feeling of accomplishing something great. There is nothing better than the feeling of getting out of the water after a hard swim practice or of finishing an research paper. She also loves her grandma's cheesecake and anyone's cheeseburgers (with waffle fries).

--a hatred for close-minded people. Well, she doesn't hate them . . . she just wishes she could make them more open to the ideas of the world. She believes that the world today is rapidly changing and no matter how strong your beliefs are, you should always give others a chance to express their own beliefs. In order to make everyone happy, and someday accomplish peace, she thinks is it necessary for everyone to be open to change, small or large.

--a very random mind. Actually, she is insanely great at being random. She seems to come up with ideas, topics, and questions from nowhere. While sometimes this is embarrassing, it is a trait that she enjoys. It has helped her to be more creative and to have unique ideas.

--great pride in her swimming accomplishments. She learned a lot about she is by dealing with intense competition, captain duties, disappointments. Over fourteen years of her life, her swim times improved drastically, and she came to realize that if you put your heart in it, anything is possible.

--always wanted to be a wife and a mom! She wants to always enjoy the small things such as sunrises, ice cream, green arrow traffic lights.

--hopes to leave the world a little better than it was, even if all she can do is make one child feel loved or talk two kids out of making a bad decision. She thinks it is important to not get overly angry about anything, because every second spent upset, is one lost second of happiness. She values the world she is blessed to live on, so issues surrounding the environment are also very important to her.

--plans to be remembered as the person who was always there with opens ears and open arms, who accepted everyone for who they were, and always maintained a positive attitude.
